Conditions

By booking a lesson with Vancouver New Drivers, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

• Standard driving lessons within Burnaby, BC only.
• Borrowing a school vehicle for driving tests (Burnaby ICBC locations only).
• A maximum of 2 people (1 instructor and 1 student) are allowed in the vehicle during lessons.

• Driving lessons are charged at $70 per hour.
• Each 60-minute lesson includes approximately 55 minutes of practical driving time and 5 minutes for review and feedback.

• Payments: Full payment is required before scheduling a lesson.
• Cancellations: Free cancellation is allowed if notified at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment.
• Rescheduling: Lessons may be rescheduled or canceled by Vancouver New Drivers due to weather or traffic conditions.
• Late Arrivals: We will wait up to 15 minutes for late students and attempt to contact them before moving on to the next appointment.
• No Refund Policy: We reserve the right to cancel an appointment due to any violations of these terms, with no refunds provided.
• Students must provide at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule a driving lesson. Lessons cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice are non-refundable and, where applicable, will be deducted from the student's lesson package or forfeited if paid individually.
• A minimum of 72 hours' notice is required to cancel or reschedule a road test warm-up lesson and the use of Vancouver New Drivers' vehicle. Road test warm-up lessons and vehicle use fees cancelled with less than 72 hours' notice are non-refundable.
• Vancouver New Drivers does not schedule ICBC road tests. Students are responsible for booking, rescheduling, or cancelling their own ICBC road test appointments.
• Vancouver New Drivers reserves the right to decline future lesson bookings if a student repeatedly cancels or reschedules lessons.
• If a student is genuinely dissatisfied with the quality of instruction and chooses not to continue, Vancouver New Drivers will refund the value of any unused prepaid lessons.

• Students must have a valid learner's permit.
• Students must be physically and mentally fit to operate a vehicle.
• Any medical conditions affecting driving ability should be disclosed in advance.

• Vancouver New Drivers is not liable for any accidents, injuries, or damages that occur during lessons or after completing training.
• Students assume full responsibility for following all road laws and instructor directions.

• All lessons and tests will be conducted in Vancouver New Drivers' vehicles.
• Students are responsible for treating the vehicle with care; however, the school does not currently have damage liability rules in place.

• Students are expected to be respectful and follow the instructor's guidance at all times.
• Any disruptive, unsafe, or inappropriate behavior may result in immediate termination of the lesson with no refund.

• We collect general personal information solely for booking and contacting purposes.
• Testimonials or student feedback may be used for promotional purposes on our website or Google Business Profile, but no sensitive personal details will be shared.
• We do not sell or share personal information with third parties.

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada. Any disputes shall be resolved within the courts of British Columbia.
